The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving This Guy, ridden by S. Foley, Hasiyna, ridden by Jessica Maye and Mina Bonita, ridden by Reese Holohan, where it appeared Mina Bonita suffered pressure from both sides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Arctic Steps, ridden by P. McGettigan, placed second and Jered Maddox (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. McGettigan stated that his filly cocked her head, changed her legs and shied away from the winner. He further added that he changed his stick in an to attempt to straighten up. L.T. McAteer stated that he had to snatch up inside the final furlong to avoid contact when Arctic Steps moved across. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

A.S. Grant, rider of Irish Ballet, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

S. Foley, rider of This Guy, trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left out of the starting stalls.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Jered Maddox (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a check in the final furlong.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Bye Bye Now, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung right in the finish.

059B Dundalk Stadium Winter Series H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the end of the back straight involving Inishfallen, ridden by J. Kearney, placed second, Clonmacash (GB), ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed fourth and Alfred Tennyson, ridden by K.G. Kennedy, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Kearney stated that his mount gradually drifted across to the left at the point of the bend when things became tight. Adam Caffrey stated that he tried to avoid clipping a heel on the outside at the point of the bend but was also aware of the horse on his inside. K.G. Kennedy stated that he felt pressure from both sides at the point of the bend and took a preventative check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. Kearney, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mehman (GB), trained by P.J.F. Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Mehman (GB), trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount anticipated the start.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Alfred Tennyson, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a check after one furlong.

059C Irish Stallion EBF Median Auction M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Golddream (FR), trained by David Marnane was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).

Adam Caffrey, rider of Perggosa, trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the starting stalls. Having viewed the recording the of the start and reviewing the incident the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, G.M. Ryan, rider of Gatlinburg, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green and kept on one paced in the home straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Jamestown trained by David Marnane, was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).

059D Dundalk Stadium Winter Series H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Amemri (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed first, Kitty Bear, ridden by Orla Tynan, placed third and Desert Of The Sea, ridden by Sadhbh Tormey, unplaced, where it appeared Kitty Bear drifted left. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.T. McAteer stated that he made a precautionary switch to the left to avoid any interference. Orla Tynan stated that her horse started to hang left and run around when hitting the front and so she put down her stick to attempt to correct. Sadhbh Tormey stated that she saw Kitty Bear drifting over so let out a shout, but felt she received no interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Orla Tynan, was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly, and having considered her clean record in this regard they suspended her for two racedays. Orla Tynan and Sadhbh Tormey were both happy to be unaccompanied for this enquiry.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Cillian Rowan, rider of Comfort Line, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Cillian Rowan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays. Cillian Rowan was happy to be unaccompanied for this enquiry.

Orla Tynan, rider of Kitty Bear, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung left when hitting the front.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Pliny, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed unplaced, and Ramair, ridden by J. Pietropaolo, placed fifth, where it appeared Pliny had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that things became congested. J. Pietropaolo stated that he felt his mount drifting towards the stand side so attempted to straighten him, he further added that he came across Pliny. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. Pietropaolo, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays. J. Pietropaolo was happy to be unaccompanied for this enquiry.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Ben Lawers (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

059H Dundalk Stadium Winter Series H'cap

J. Kearney, rider of Beat The Devil, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

S. Foley, rider of Doctor Grace, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Showyoutheropes, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed fifth and Storm Eric, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed third, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.G. McCullagh stated that Storm Eric rolled towards him, that the contact was minor and felt it had no bearing on the result. Adam Caffrey stated that his mount rolled slowly towards Showyoutheropes but that he changed his stick and immediately made every effort to straighten his mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
